People search the internet for information about companies and their products, technical information, and business and trade industry news. Internet advertising presents a greater opportunity to reach your customers and present your company and products.
In 2001, RB Associates Ltd. ("RBA") launched its internet Web sites and services. These sites include:
The Manufacturing Process Improvement Network
Provides integrated coverage of manufacturing issues and process improvement solutions relevant to engineering, manufacturing and production professionals. Web site content features editorial matter, product reviews, original and acquired news articles, archives, message board / discussion forum, and a searchable database. Featured sections include: assembly, welding, tooling, machining, quality, and other manufacturing topics. The Web site is updated daily. Registration is required only for complete access
Personnel engaged in the manufacturing industry: executives, professional engineers, engineering technologists / analysts, consultants and contractors involved in maintenance and plant engineering, materials, purchasing, production control, process planning, quality, and production.
Based on web server data, tracking is done on average page views per month and the resulting ad impressions.
Web site advertising is based on either the display of Sponsorhips or Advertisements.
Sponsorship links are text or graphics displaying a company name or logo with an internet link to a Web site. Sponsorships are displayed on a full-time basis on Web site pages and do not rotate like advertisements. Internet links can be to the sponsoring company's Web site, or any other Web site the sponsor chooses. Sponsorships are available for the main Web site page or for featured sections.
Artwork for Sponsorships must meet the following specifications :
Ads are available in many sizes and positions on our Web pages. Ads may also be placed on topic-specific sections of the Web site. Ads can be fixed and displayed for a period of time, or placed in rotation (displayed for a fixed number of times, called impressions). RBA offers professional design services (quoted on a per project basis), but you may provide your own electronic artwork. See Ad Specifications for ad and file requirements.
Ad sizes are based on standard internet advertising industry ad sizes established by the Internet Advertising Bureau, www.iab.net. In addition to ad width and height, there are restrictions on ad file sizes. This ensures that the Web site user experience is not spoiled by delays in downloading large ads.
Ads are divided into the following categories:
